Junior Civil Engineer

Qualifications:

BS Civil Engineer, preferably licensed

At least 1 year work-related experience, vertical construction experience an advantage

Proficient in AUTOCAD and Excel

Responsibilities:

Set out works in accordance with the drawings and specification.

Check materials and work progress for compliance with specified requirements.

Coordinates with clients technical staff regarding project scope of work, plans & specifications.

Supervise construction workers (including adherence to safety standards) and monitor work and workers attendance.

Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff and workers.

Liaison with project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements.

Provide data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.

Prepare technical report and site diary.

Collect data and prepare progress billings and accomplishment reports.
