Magento Developer | Dayshift And Weekends Off | Full Time

ZigZag is looking for a Senior Magento Developer | Magento Developer to join our team!

Qualifications:

Computer Science degree or similar level of tertiary education.

3+ years commercial use of ecommerce platforms, (particularly Magento 1&2).

3+ years experience developing in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 & CSS3.

Magento 2 certified professional developer (not essential).

Experience:

Experience with developing for and managing a Magento 2 Cloud PAAS technology stack.

Experience with REST APIs involving writing scripts to develop back end Magento extensions and scripts for APIs between Magento and other software such as NetSuite

Experience with the implementation and management of payment systems (e.g. PayPal, eWAY, Braintree, ZipPay, ZipMoney, AfterPay etc.)

Excellent working knowledge of source code repos and deployment tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.

Familiar with DevOps and testing practices and tools like JMeter, Selenium, and Cucumber.

Proficient in MySQL based databases and querying.

Intermediate user of JIRA and Confluence and JIRA related software

Experienced in PWA development advantangous but not nessesary.

Agile delivery methodology

Skills:

Proficient with writing and following technical documentation and specifications.

Ability to understand project life-cycle, lead design and test system.

Exceptional planning and organisational skills.

Adept in determining priorities to meet deadlines.

High attention to detail and able to produce high quality work.

Strong communication skills, both in writing and face to face.
