You will:

A minimum of 3+ year of experience with the Shopify platform

Minimum 3+ years industry experience in front-end development with a Strong portfolio of existing projects

Have a passion for coding clean HTML, CSS/SCSS & JS that is performant and cross browser compatible.

You keep up to date with emerging technologies and the latest best practices.

You are a quick learner who is always looking to improve.

You know your Sections from your Divs, your Buttons from your Anchor tags and when and why to use each.

Experience in developing unique front-end websites, pages or components from high fidelity designs without relying on third party style libraries.

Experience with build pre-processors and build scripts (SCSS, Grunt, Gulp)

Have an eye for design and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the UI.

Be able to provide accurate time estimates on work for the project management team.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)

Discuss technical solutions & basic training with clients

Have good understanding of Web Accessibility

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to work independently within a small team

Highly regarded:

Experience with Liquid

Experience and understanding of Typescript

Experience and understanding of Web Components

Familiarity working with designs in Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD

Can understand and write scripts in NodeJS or PHP

Understanding of page speed performance and tools to measure page speed performance, i.e. Google PageSpeed Insights or GT Metrix.

Solid understanding of Google Analytics and SEO
