Software Engineer - Joyride Superapp

Job Description:

Analyze, Design, Coordinate, and Develop Software Modules or Systems assigned

Play an active part in the development team, sharing ideas and helping the team where practical.

Contribute to the projects by doing system analysis and design, coding program modules, creation of test items or scripts, creation of system or user documentation

Develop and maintain business systems that will help produce more accurate results and output

Develop, test, debug and maintain applications using a certain programming language

Write and maintain functional, data, and test specifications

Provide assistance to QA and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.

Provides support to existing Systems by troubleshooting and providing fixes to the reported issues

Provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on identified bug trends and issues on assigned projects.

Join Scrum meetings such as stand up, backlog refinement, planning, review, and retrospective.

Use and follow company software development guidelines and procedures from software tools to maintenance and support tools.

Produce software manuals or other projects/technical documentation as and when required.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience in any of the latest technologies (Node JS, React JS, React Native, Python)

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Experience working in an Agile environment

Experience with version control tools like Git is a plus

Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipeline is a plus

Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices

Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science/IT

Good verbal and communication skills
