Basic Function

The role is responsible for Payroll processing, validation, accounting and audit management. It will includes responsibilities for ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely payments, stakeholders Management, Managing employee queries, record keeping, Internal/ external audits, SOX and other regulatory compliances . The person in this position will portray a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient service to team members and customers with the highest integrity.

Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

Co-ordination with Payroll service provider and Onshore/ offshore team for seamless operations.

Accurate and timely accounting of payroll entries including F&F.

Lead financial reporting and other deliverables related to monthly book closure.

Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures or any other automation/ process improvement opportunities.

To provide a high quality service and to contribute to the long term process improvement including sufficient process controls to avoid any audit issue/ fraud risk.

Stake holder Management and ensuring positive VoC and higher employee satisfaction.

To provide an effective and efficient output of work to meet the demands made of the role, and to assist in all aspects of the work undertaken by the Payroll Department.

Leading a team of people, motivate and engage them to deliver to the best.

Essential Functions

Process payroll according to Regional procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.

Review payroll List, identifying errors and determining their causes to ensure accuracy.

Validation and Processing of Employee Disputes.

Final Pay Computation.

Accurate and timely Accounting and reporting of all transactions pertaining to payroll.

Reviews the accuracy of the Generated Payroll Report.

Ensure statutory compliances are met in close co-ordination with other stake holders.

To work collaboratively and in a supportive manner within the HR team, the finance team and other departments to ensure that the overall aims and Objectives are achieved.

To maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential data.

A minimum of 10 to 15 years previous experience in payroll and benefits processing and accounting.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and high level of honesty and integrity.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.

Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members

Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical procedures and adherence to company and statutory rules related to payroll, benefits, workers compensation, deadlines and policies

Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft and Excel skills with the ability to present information in forms, tables, and spread sheets.

Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the department, including nights and weekends as required.

Min. Qualification:Post graduate degree, Oracle experience, Payroll amangement
