Head of HR Centre of Excellence Opening 2021

Summary of Scope:

The Head of HR Centre of Excellence will ensure that the overall administration, coordination and implementation of human resources plans and programs are realized. The essential job responsibilities include:

Developing and administering HR policies and procedures that relate to Culture & Branding, Talent Acquisition & HR Analytics, Total Rewards Development & Management, and Learning & Development

Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR Department

Contributing to the development of HR Departments goals, objectives, and systems

Key Accountabilities

Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.

Leads the internal HR processes such as hiring & onboarding, pay & benefits, rewards, performance management, learning and development, talent & succession planning, employee engagement, and other relevant facets of HR

Champions change management principles and practices for the HR function and accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.

Leads the development, revision, interpretation, and execution of human resources policies, practices, and procedures promoting best value employee experience.

Provides advice and counsel on complex human resources matters to the Chief Human Resources Officer and other members of the senior leadership team.

Remains current on relevant company policies and procedures as well a statutory laws and regulations and labor laws to ensure compliance.

Leads the design and delivery of people and organizational development strategies and the management of change in support of the organizations strategic and operational plans, providing information, advice and services as required.

Strategically assesses the effectiveness of current programs in achieving organizational objectives; identifies best practices and benchmarks; and develops recommendations for modifications to align to HR strategy and business goals

Leads constant evaluation of the compensation landscape to understand and learn from best practices through benchmarking and industry research and employment trends, track legislation and make recommendations

Leads the development and integration of new and/or existing rewards programs, policies and procedures to ensure that programs are market competitive, internally equitable, and cost effective

Overall accountable for the design & implementation of high quality HR products, processes and services ensuring that all HR solutions are integrated into the business strategy and that it can adapt proactively to the changing demands of the stakeholders. This function serves as the Employee Experience function of the Bank and shall deploy a modernized, extraordinary & best-in-class employee life cycle.

Leads the HR transformation for the Company which aims to deliver forward-thinking capabilities that will help the bank to respond more timely and effectively to changes in the business environment. This role will ensure that all HR solutions are integrated, automated and of value to the employees.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant

HR Certifications are advantageous but not necessary

Relevant Work Experience

8-10 years of HR experiences covering:

Competencies

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through processes, identify and implement process improvements and resolve complex matters

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational/prioritization skills with an ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail

Proficient in MS Office; advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Self-started with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
