Data Processing Specialist Banking

The Role:

This is a role of data processing specialist in BPO center for an established bank handling new customer onboarding, account creation, incoming and outgoing transaction instructions based on the established business processes.

Process customers information/data for new customer onboarding, new account creation, tasks include but not limited to checking, verifying, evaluating customer information and approving customers request with regards to aforementioned banking services.

Process customers instruction for incoming & outgoing transaction request including but not limited to reviewing, verifying compliance and approving customers instruction

Ensure that customers confidential information is properly protected and only used for official and approved purposes

Work with other departments such as operation, compliance, customer service, payment channel service provider etc. to ensure that the business processes are executed smoothly.

Follow up closely on the status of the business process that has been initiated and ensure that they are closed out successfully.

Update status of the business process/activities in the system.

Work under the supervision & coaching of the bank to improve and enhance the BPO services.

Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the superior

The Requirements:

Work Experience:

2 to 3 years proven previous working experience in banking and finance industry with sound knowledge of banking functions and procedure and BPO will be advantageous

Candidate must be able to understand the importance of data quality and security and exercise extra vigilance when handling these data

Entry or Junior level

Educational Background:

Bachelors degree in any field

Skills:

Strong collaboration, communication, organizational, quality focus, analytical, multi-tasking skills

Strong integrity, detail oriented and proficient with math,

Excellent data entry abilities

Excellent in English for both verbal communication and written capability

Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel)

Basic computer literacy to operate the IT system and software, training will be provided

Chinese/Mandarin applicants are preferred
