Gis Developer

Develop, deploy, and maintain GIS applications built with ArcGIS for Server and Arc Engine.

Develop functional applications from use case descriptions, write and debug code, created application user documentation, and maintain web applications and software releases.

Develop and maintain ESRI ArcGIS web applications and services with ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, web scripting and SQL programming.

Design and development of custom code to fulfill the application/module requirement as per the ITL coding guideline.

Development/unit testing of desktop application using WPF.

Development/unit testing of web application using MVC framework.

Proactively adhere to the quality policies set forth by the Quality team.

Ensure that applications adhere to the requirement of the customer.

Requirements

Graduate of Computer / IT course or any related field

At least 2 years of solid experience as Qualified GE or equivalent

2+ years of experience in development of GIS application using ArcGIS server (Web application: .Net platform)

2+ years of development using GIS application using ESRI Arc Engine (Arc Object) technologies (Desktop application: .Net platform)

2+ years of experience in Dojo, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, AJAX desired

2+ years of experience in ESRI ArcGIS Desktop application

1+ years of experience in handling SDE database as an Administrator

Strong knowledge in modern web security
