Hereunder are the Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Directly reports administratively to Plant Supervisor and functionally to SLS Supervisor.

2.Drives and takes responsibility of maintaining good condition and cleanliness of his assigned delivery van.

3.Ensures that items received from Slaughter Plant are correct in terms of classification and quantity.

4.Delivers products correctly and on time.

5.Reports to SLS all problems encountered during the trip for necessary instructions and actions.

6.Fills up necessary data and submits DDRF to SLS on a daily basis.

7.Submits all delivery documents together with DDRF to SLS Section.

8.Responsible of his shrinkage beyond allowed weight.

9.Delivers Pahabol orders.

10.Performs tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

11.Before leaving the terminal or plant, truck drivers should check the fuel level and oil in their trucks.

12.Make sure that the brakes, windshield wipers, and lights are working and that a fire extinguisher, flares and other safety equipment are abroad and in working order.

13.Make sure the cargo is secure and adjust the mirrors so that both sides of the trucks are visible from the drivers seat.

14.14Report equipment that is inoperable, missing, or loaded improperly to the dispatcher.

15.Once under way, drivers must be alert to prevent accidents. Drivers can see farther down the road because large trucks seat them higher off the ground than other vehicles. This allows them to see the road ahead and select lanes that are moving more smoothly as well as well as giving them warning of any dangerous road conditions ahead of them.

16.The duration of runs vary according to the types of cargo and the destinations. A drivers responsibilities and assignment change according to the type of loads transported and their vehicles size.
