5 Creative Writer Lead Post Opening 2019

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage content creation and publishing.

Manage online content projects by collaborating cross-functionally with teams that provide content and services.

Track progress, risks, and risk mitigations & Define project plans .

Maintain quality control: review, approve, and address quality issues as needed

Partner cross-functionally to determine updates needed and publish modifications.

Make stylistic, structural, factual, and grammatical corrections where appropriate.

Track copy through editing and production stages.

Experience using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, or other project management tools is required.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills are a must

Experience using a web content management system platform a plus.

Experience with design programs, analytics, and SEO a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree in Journalism (or related field) with demonstrated interest and/or experience in the sciences.

Excellent writing, editing, copywriting and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.

Excellent project management and strategic planning skills, with experience handling professional correspondence.

1-4 years of experience managing online content, including solid B2B and high tech experience.

Ability to work with teams across departments and to manage parallel projects with tight deadlines.

Knowledge of and comfort with primary social media platforms required.

Experience using a web content management system (CMS) platform a plus.

Familiarity with design programs, analytics, and SEO a plus.
