They are a team of approximately 40 people in the UK with 1/3 of the business dedicated to engineering and UX.

About the Position

Objective C & Swift skilled iOS developer to participate in the development of highly interactive iPhone projects. This position requires well-rounded development skills with front-end development experience including HTML, Apple's iOS SDK (in particular Camera API, location services), OAuth2, JSON rest APIs, Google Maps SDK, Facebook SDK (login) and Google Sign-In SDK. The ideal candidate will have iOS development experience in high profile interactive projects.

You are expected to have a good understanding of iOS design patterns/coding conventions, Apples Human Interface Guidelines, and App Store Review Guidelines as well as:

An understanding of client-server development in a mobile environment

Proven architecture skills

Experience with task planning and estimating effort

Experience leading projects and overseeing development teams

We seek developers with object-oriented design skills and a track record of delivering designs to market, a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and a fundamental love of Application Programming Interfaces (API), with expertise in rapid prototyping and the ability to quickly go from mock-ups to implementation without compromising on the use of reusable patterns.

Skills

2+ years of iOS development experience

Ability to deliver apps pixel perfect following design guidelines / brief.

Objective C & Swift

Object Orientated Development

Experience integrating with proprietary JSON APIs and parsing large amounts of Data (JSON)

Experience integrating with third party APIs like Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, etc..

Agile development processes including Scrum

Simple image manipulation (panning & cropping images)

Strategies to build applications that are resilient against network dropouts

Experience and solid understanding of building scalable views using auto layout

Industry knowledge

Any demonstrable knowledge of Social Media and Social Networks.

Any demonstrable knowledge of convergence in telecom, media and internet industries.

Any demonstrable knowledge of large technology business ecosystems, e.g. GAFAM ecosystems (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft)
