DB2 LUW DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Location:Makati City

Job Type:Full Time, Permanent role | DIRECT HIRE (We do not employ to deploy.)

One of Fortune 500 Shared Services Companies is looking for a DB2 LUW Database Administrator to provide continuous development.

As the DB2 LUW Database Administrator, you must have the following qualifications and experience:

-5+ years of relevant experience especially in database management systems, database design, implementation, testing and maintenance

-Expert in performance tuning activities

-Experienced in administering production and non-production databases using the following: DB2 LUW, UNIX, AIX, Solaris, Linux, Virtualization servers

-Database maintenance using UNIX shell scripting and database monitoring

-Installations, configurations, performance, backup and recovery of DB2 LUW databases

-Efficiently schedule tasks from onshore / offshore clients

-Provide technical evaluation of databases

-Manage timelines, installation, tuning, validation and management of new databases

-Involved in activation, provisioning and troubleshooting storage, load balancing, operating systems administration, database administration, monitoring services.
