Web Developer

Coordinates and implements new web development, maintenance, modification and enhancement. Negotiates system architectural needs, analyzes system and business requirements, estimates scope and develops project plans from written specifications. Collaborates with user departments and other technology teams to implement work requests and support production systems.

Required Skills

Exposure to at least two end-to-end static and dynamic website development projects (HTML, XHTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript/VBscript)

Strong database knowledge, specifically SQL server or MySQL

Experience with well-optimized graphics

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop and maintain web documents and site templates using agreed upon tools, tag libraries, coding standards and validation tests.

Identify issues and develop solutions designed to meet specifications defined by the clients. Manage the architectural design

Preferred Skills / Strong Working Knowledge

Practical experience with AJAX

CMS experience or any web authoring service development

Web/graphic design skills

Web Designer

Produces visual solutions to the communication needs of client across print and electronic media using variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation and various print and layout techniques in the most effective way.

Preferred Skills / Strong Working Knowledge

Minimum of six months experience in Flash/Flex (time-based and Action Scripting), Joomla, Expression Engine or comparable CMS

One to two years experience in HTML/XHTML, CSS 3 and Javascript

Two to three years experience with After Effects
