RESPONSIBLE FOR:HR SUPERVISOR (FUNCTIONAL), NURSE (ADMINISTRATIVE)

JOB SPECIFICATION

Graduate of BS/BA Degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or any related course with five (5) years managerial experience in all areas of personnel administration or human resource management.

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and controlling human resource administration and operations within the areas of recruitment and staffing, compensation and benefits, personnel and labor relations, organizational development, training, performance management and other related functions in order to provide and achieve appropriate and productive working relationships among the management and its employees within the mall and the limits provided by corporate guidelines, local ordinance, and the Labor Laws or Code.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Recruitment and Staffing

1.1. Ensures that all manpower requirements identified in his mall of assignment or branch plantilla are completely filled.

1.2. Works closely with the Corporate Recruitment Team and the Plans and Programs Department in assessing the manpower requirements of his respective mall assignment. Provides substantial and pertinent information to the Corporate Recruitment Team and Regional HR Managers on selection criteria and business requirements in his mall assignment.

1.3. Schedules and coordinates the assessment process of identified candidates with the Corporate Recruitment Team for applicable levels or positions.

1.4. Implements local sourcing strategies and activities by partnering with local institutions and organizations.

2.Compensation and Benefits

2.1Ensures the processing and delivery of all compensation and benefits matters in his mall or branch in accordance to agreed service levels and company policies.

2.2Ensures that the employee compensation and benefits are processed in a timely and accurate manner in the mall or branch.

2.3Provides immediate assistance for compensation and benefits concern(s) of employees.

2.4Monitors the accuracy of timekeeping, compensation and benefits reports on the mall or branch level for consolidation by the Corporate Compensation and Benefits Team and reports to them any timekeeping issue or concern whether technical or human error.

2.5Ensures optimal utilization and availment of government-mandated employee benefits, through strong partnership with government units for effective information dissemination and campaigns and immediate communication of the same to the Corporate Compensation & Benefits Department.

3.Training and Development

3.1. Ensures the delivery of the identified learning and development interventions, and programs for the employees of his mall or branch assignment as well as the smooth delivery of local training programs and safekeeping of training materials.

3.2. In coordination with immediate managers, assesses the Learning and Development needs and monitors the progress of skills and competency development of employees.

3.3. Coordinates with the Corporate Learning and Development Department the participation and schedule of employees nominated for a learning program.

3.4. Provides career and succession planning as well as employee development advisory for managers and staff based on performance reviews and training needs analysis.

4.Employee Relations

4.1. Promotes compliance, facilitates effective communication, and be the immediate resource person of the Companys HR Policies, Guidelines and strategic initiatives. Ensures the adherence of mall or branch employees to the companys HR Policies and Guidelines.

4.2. Ensures proper and timely handling of employee cases in compliance with existing company policies and guidelines.

4.3. Liaises with Legal department in handling critical cases requiring suspension or involuntary separation and potential labor cases and disputes.

5.Human Resource and Information Management Systems

5.1Ensures the completeness and correctness of all pertinent documents submitted by employees and the accurate and timely processing of the same in the HR Management System. Effects any necessary update, as applicable.

5.2Ensures an efficient processing of employee data, in compliance with company standards and reporting systems.

5.3Submits necessary HR reports in a timely and accurate manner.

5.4Uses pertinent information and data in handling employee concerns under his responsibility.

5.5Ensures proper safekeeping and security of all classified and confidential HR information.

6.Organizational Development

6.1Collaborates with other functional managers and ensures safety, security, wellness and corporate social responsibility activities of all the employees within his mall or branch of responsibility, in synergy with CRS, Operations and, Health Services.

6.2Ensures the proper communication of HR initiatives, strategies and roll-out of projects.

6.3Provides relevant information for the improvement of existing policies, processes and systems to address both mall or branch business needs in coherence with HR strategies.

6.4Implements activities and advocacies that will create a work environment, in which employees will choose to be motivated and committed to the goals and objectives of the organization.

7.Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
