SUMMARY

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the timely processing of international payrolls, ensuring that employees are paid correctly, completing all required funding and updating of various company databases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily processing of International payrolls for Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Europe regions by reviewing timecards,entering manual timecards, or importing crew time and expense templates into the system

Educate, train and assist employees with Oracle Time and Expense

Responsible for auditing expenses, processing new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and special payments such as bonuses, merit increases, and salary/cash advances

Liaison with third party payroll provider to discuss payroll related concerns

Perform review of the payroll registers (e.g. earnings, deductions, taxes, ER cost) for accuracy and completeness before payroll funding

Manage the cash advance process; resolve account reconciliation with Finance;

Assist the Billing team with corrections of timecards and expenses

Assist with Corporate Credit card program (AMEX) with clearing charges

Understand the Shadow Payroll concept and report the monthly payroll wages for processing

Process garnishments and court orders which includes child support, tax levies, bankruptcy orders, student loans, and wage assignments

Manage multiple reports and provide to management as needed

Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner; must communication effectively on all payroll issues and concerns

Maintain high level of confidentiality in regards to employee pay records and documents

Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment performing these duties with little or no supervision

Participate in system implementation and unit testing

Perform a wide variety of payroll activities/duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Oracle experience a plus (or training to be provided)

Microsoft Outlook

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent time management skills

Excellent organizational skills

Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and creative thought processing skills

Ability to multi-task, coordinate, and plan

Strong analytical aptitude

High attention to detail skills

Intermediate to Advanced skill level of Excel

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Accounting or Finance education background preferred.

Min. Qualification:College graduate, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, experience in SAP is an advantage
